We know how important catering can be for your special event. While the Thomas S. Monson Center does not provide catering directly, we’ve put together a list of approved caterers that offer a variety of cuisines and price points to suit your needs.

For meetings with fewer than 25 people, we have some great drop-off caterers to choose from.

Alcoholic beverages may be served at receptions, dinners, and other events at the Thomas S. Monson Center. We take care to adhere to state regulations and be consistent with alcohol policies at other university and educational facilities. Consistent with this policy, we follow these guidelines:

• Alcohol may be served upon approval only. Approval must be obtained from the Vice President over the Monson Center at least two weeks prior
  to the event.
• Alcohol service may not begin before 5:00 pm.
• Only beer, wine, and mixed drinks may be served in the Monson Center.
• The event must be closed to the General Public.
• There may be no charge of any kind of alcoholic beverages served at the event. Cash bars are strictly prohibited and no part of any ticket, admissions,
  or registration proceeds collected from those attending the event may be used to purchase alcohol for the event.
• The third-party lessee must agree to comply with all Utah laws regarding the service and consumption of liquor. The third-party lessee must sign a
  rental agreement, an alcohol service request addendum and agree to assume liability for any claims resulting from the service or consumption of
  alcohol at the event.
• All alcohol must be provided and served by an approved caterer for the Monson Center.
• Any outside events serving alcohol must have a physical barrier.

Alcoholic beverages may be served at receptions, dinners, and other events at the Thomas S. Monson Center through one of our suggested caterers (see above) or through a licensed bartender.
